There is no one to blame but us for everything that has been destroyed today!

We often place blame on others for the problems we face, without taking a moment to reflect on our own roles in the situations and issues affecting our country or society. We tend to evade personal accountability and instead find excuses readily available.

When contemplating the current state of Pakistan, one might wonder who bears the real responsibility. If you were to ask the people of Pakistan this question, they might point fingers at the present government, the previous government, political figures, the judiciary, or the establishment. However, rarely do they include themselves in the equation; personal accountability is often overlooked.

This, I believe, is a fundamental reason why Pakistan still lags behind in terms of development. We may claim to love our country, but regrettably, we often exploit it for our own personal gains without making the necessary sacrifices.

When I refer to ‘we,’ I am the first to include myself in that category.

Progress begins when we acknowledge our mistakes and hold ourselves accountable for our decisions. Over time, this will lead us in the right direction.

Nations and societies are built on the foundations of truth, honesty, sincerity, justice, and equality. If we embrace these values, we will find success. The world will respect us, praise us, and believe in us.

I understand that some readers may find this article stating the obvious, but, my dear brothers and sisters, it is precisely these common principles that we often neglect, resulting in the challenges we face in our country.

Countries and nations are formed not just by land but by their people. For instance, in my business studies, I learned that organizations thrive or falter due to their internal employees. This example illustrates a simple truth.

Similarly, the fate of nations and countries is determined by their people. I hope you now comprehend my point and what I wish to convey.

In conclusion, I would like to share a verse from the Quran.

For each one are successive [angels] before and behind him who protect him by the decree of Allah. Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves. And when Allah intends for a people ill, there is no repelling it. And there is not for them besides Him any patron. (13:11)
